You’ve made my recommended reading list!!!

It really is an honor. I mean, not a real honor like a medal or something, but it’s close.

    Hey Jennifer,

Sorry to leave this on your about page. But, could you change the link on your blogroll to twinisms.com instead of .wordpress.com? I’m not updating the wordpress site anymore.

I saw your comments on an offensive blog entry denigrating Chick-fil-A and others who support traditional marriage. Decided to look up your blog and comment to you directly rather than do anything more to “pump up” this guy. I was disappointed that Fresh Pressed gave this guy space – not the usual neutral fare on that page.

Your responses to commenters on that page were very well thought out and logical – and not at all insulting, as most others were. We must use grace and kindness when in dialogue with those who oppose our point of view. But lately it is frustrating because it seems so many on either side are more likely to listen to those who use inflammatory language than those of us who try to engage in calm, logical debate.

I don’t mean to vent here. Keep up the good work!

Yes, I agree with you, I was surprised the Freshly Pressed had that featured, but I really don’t know how they decide which blogs to feature. Thank you for reading my blog! Yes, there are times I feel as though I am losing a battle, trying to keep civility and rationality the tone of any discussion whether with encouraging conservatives to do so or with the gay community. It’s very hard to be called names and blasted and not take offense or even want to lash back out. Some of it is sheer folly – bomb threats, vandalism, this is just foolishness. It doesn’t help their cause in the least. I saw a tweet recently by a homosexual that said “We used to be the ones bullied, now we have become the bullies.” How sad. I hope to accomplish positive dialogue with people of all backgrounds. Positive dialogue does NOT necessarily mean that we will agree. It means we have mutual respect, logical thinking, and kind hearts. Please vent whenever you like here! I appreciate your feedback! God bless you 🙂
